Even mobile-optimized websites have mistakes, and tiny buttons or crowded links top the list. Readers need to be able to tap any button or link without fear of accidentally clicking something else. Remember that people have clumsy fingers (and sometimes poor eyesight) so give your buttons and links enough space and make them large enough to see clearly.

Load time is critical for search engine ranking, but it’s even more important on mobile devices. Viewers may have difficulty accessing your website because of limited data coverage or spotty wifi, so you should make your website load as quickly as possible.
